You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and operation of complex systems in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as iteration planning, iteration demos, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to team goals and objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date system documentation in confluence, including interface definitions, system diagrams, and mission use cases
- Collaboration: Work closely with the government product manager and software developers to ensure system designs align with customer and technical objectives.
- Other Responsibilities:
- System Design: Develop and document system architecture, components, and interfaces to meet project requirements.
- System Interfaces: Become an expert in the system’s interfaces and identify key integration points
- Integration & Testing: Support the integration system services with external systems
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving system efficiency and scalability through innovative approaches and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
- An active Secret clearance is required
- 8-10 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Jenkins,…)
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. · Experience with Java, Spring MVC, jQuery, jQuery DataTables, ThymeLeaf, AJAX, Bootstrap and CSS experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in Mission Operations
- Experience with complex system integration activities
